Women’s Hormone Balancing

I like to think of your body’s hormone system as a constant flowing river, with the water maintaining a constant PH and mineral level for ecosystem homeostasis. If you change the mineral levels or the PH it will affect every part of the ecosystem will it not? Fish, algae and even the surrounding vegetation are all affected by the rivers ability to maintain homeostasis. Even the trees growing in the area are affected by the balance in the river. Now think about what would happen to that ecosystem if I released the Hoover Dam into it. That ecosystem would get completely out of whack with the increase of water, mineral levels and change in temperature and PH. Releasing the Hoover Dam is similar to what happens when you flood your “ecosystem” with hormones. You affect your entire ecosystem. Hormones are intricately connected to multiple body systems. You cannot change one hormone without it having an effect on other hormones.

This is the reason we order testing to exactly IDENTIFY where the imbalances are located and we work on THAT particular imbalance. We don’t “Hoover Dam” the system, but make adjustments gradually and monitor your body’s response. In time we make more changes, we work with your body until it has balanced out. The key is small changes to achieve the goal. We do this holistically without bio-identical or synthetic hormones.
