Fertility & PCOS
I like to think of the womb as a house. It’s quite literally where your baby will live for almost 10 months. Our Fertility Protocol starts with that house, it starts with you. We make sure we create the best environment for baby to be conceived in and to live in. This involves identifying chemicals, metals and harmful allergens that you are being exposed to on a daily basis and then cleansing them from the body. We work on your diet as well to make sure you’re getting the right nutrients your body needs to sustain yourself and another growing life.
Lets talk about infertility. Your body is smart, it will always try to maintain homeostasis. If you’re not getting pregnant then your body is telling you that it cannot maintain homeostasis if you’re pregnant. We must identify why your body isn’t allowing pregnancy. There is always a reason. It could be something as simple as stress creating high cortisol levels overstimulating your “fight” response. It could be imbalances in hormone levels.
It’s our job to look at infertility from every angle. It’s our job to think outside the box.
I like to think of your body’s hormone system as a constant flowing river, with the water maintaining a constant PH and mineral level for ecosystem homeostasis. If you change the mineral levels or the PH it will affect every part of the ecosystem will it not? Fish, algae and even the surrounding vegetation are all affected by the rivers ability to maintain homeostasis. Now think about what would happen to that ecosystem if I released the Hoover Dam into it. That ecosystem would get completely out of whack with the increase of water, mineral levels and change in temperature and PH. Releasing the Hoover Dam is similar to what happens when you flood your “ecosystem” with hormones. You affect your entire ecosystem. Hormones are intricately connected to multiple body systems.
This is the reason we order testing to exactly IDENTIFY where the imbalances are located and we work on THAT particular imbalance. We don’t “Hoover Dam” the system, but make adjustments gradually and monitor your body’s response. In time we make more changes, we work with your body until it has balanced out.
Pregnancy
Of utmost importance during pregnancy is that the mother and baby get the nutrients and nourishment they need. Peri-natal health not only sets the stage for long-term health of your developing child, but it gets you through pregnancy without depleting you of everything you have. Our protocols for pregnancy are designed around making sure the mother is not only nutritionally supported, but the baby as well. Our goal is to nourish mom so that nothing is being taken from her that she is unable to give. It is common knowledge that moms sacrifice their body’s, wellness and health for the sake of our children. It does not have to be this way during pregnancy. We can nourish you both.
